Range Rover and Range Rover Sport get some tweaks.
Range Rover buyers are set to benefit from a refresh of Land Rovers luxury models with both cosmetic and mechanical upgrades announced.
Extra personalisation options and colour choices are also on the way for both Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models.
One of the biggest changes is the increase in torque delivered by the SDV8 version. Tuning and transmission tweaks have seen the big engine upgrade to a 250kW and 740Nm output, fuel consumption and emissions stay the same.
While the models powered by the 3.0 litre supercharged V6 engine now come with the latest eight-speed transmission, this bring with it a six kilogram weight saving.
Meantime, the changes aren’t all under the bonnet, the updated Range Rover and Range Rover Sport will also feature updated puddle lamps, new standard and optional wheel designs and new paint colours.
With orders being taken from tomorrow, Phil Popham, Group Marketing Director of Jaguar Land Rover, says the 2015 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport tick all the boxes.
“As the world’s best luxury and premium sporting SUVs, the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport have long offered an unrivalled combination of performance, luxury and off-road capability,”
“These latest updates ensure both vehicles maintain their market-leading positions, with a special focus on performance, efficiency and increased personalisation options.”
