Updated 2014 Renault Megane lands
Renault Australia has taken the wraps off updated versions of the Renault Megane hatch and wagon range.
Externally the changes being introduced to the Renault Megane are subtle, the inclusion of the upright Renault diamond on a black background being the most notable change.
Some models will now also feature Renault‘s R-Link entertainment system with a seven-inch touchscreen.
While underneath the skin an automatic transmission is now offered with Renaults TCe130 turbo-charged petrol engine.
Producing 97kW and 205Nm, Renault believes this will be the most popular engine choice.
Two entry-level diesel variants are also on offer in the updated Renault Megane hatch and wagon range.
Prices for the updated Renault Megane start from $25,990.
Meantime, Renault has also announced that all variants of the Megane Hatch and Wagon will now come with a 5 year/unlimited kilometre warranty.
This extended warranty also includes all models in the brands Renault Sport and GT vehicles.
