A look at the fascinating history of the AMC Pacer…

Back in the mid-1970s the American Motors Corporation (AMC) launched a car that could be described as ‘America’s Leyland P76’.

We are talking about the AMC Pacer.

Like the Leyland, the Pacer is a car still loved and cherished by some, who say it was a car that was misunderstood and significantly better than the negative jibes they get.

Others though certainly don’t agree.
