The recently arrived new Mercedes-Benz E-Class has been awarded a five-star safety rating in Europe.
On sale in Australia since July and with more new variants on the way, Euro NCAP has handed the new E-Class the top safety score following a series of crash tests.
The testing authority saying that the Mercedes-Benz saloon qualified for the maximum score for occupant safety, child safety, pedestrian protection and assistance systems.
The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class range is priced from $89,990.
