Whenever a product promises “Instant Results” it’s always nice to stand back and watch to see if that’s exactly what you get.

T-Cut Rust Magic promises just that and I’ve got to say, in my road test of the rust converter, I reckon you could safely call it a case of instant results.

As the photos show, I collected three quite difference pieces of metal, one of which was a very heavily rusted pin or spacer. It was this piece of scrap that I thought would provide the biggest challenge to Rust Magic.

Following the instructions, I first gave about half of each of the three pieces of metal a good going over with a wire brush. After a quick clean off with a cloth I pulled the lid off the 10ml applicator pen and pushed it in to get the product flowing (as the photo shows it comes out quite freely).

It’s then a simple case of painting on a good liberal amount of the product onto the rust.

Within 5 minutes the rust had changed colour to a blue/black colour and then within half an hour you could see that the surface was looking healthier and the rust was looking decidedly ‘beaten’.

T-Cut tell us that Rust Magic will cure the rust and prevent it returning and within three hours of treatment you will be able to paint over the rusty surface – very impressive.
