T-Cut Headlight Restoration Review

T-Cut Headlight Restoration Review

We review a kit designed to bring headlights back to new…

In the past 15 or so years car manufacturers have moved away from the traditional glass headlights and instead given us plastic units.

No doubt cheaper to produce and a weight-saver, there is one downside – the plastic lenses break down, become cloudy and scratched and often develop an off-yellow tinge.

The T-Cut Headlight Restoration Kit promises to bring plastic headlights back to new, here’s how it went…

After giving the headlight a good clean, you simply apply the polishing compound (I chose to start by doing just the right hand side of the lens).

After even just a few seconds of rubbing I could see that the headlight was coming back to clear and had a nice smooth-to-the-touch feel.

You then remove the polishing compound and apply the restorer sealant…this is the finished product!

I was absolutely blown-away by how good this product is. In just a couple of minutes it took a tired old headlight that was ready for the scrapyard and returned to an as-good-as-new condition.

If any product deserves a full 10/10 score, its this!

I then used the product on the full headlight and as you can see – good as new!

After being impressed with the results I thought I would test out the T-Cut product on the rather faded and dull side indicator lenses on our LandCruiser.

As you can see the results were just as impressive!
