Suzuki Ignis confirmed for Australian return

The Suzuki Ignis may not have had the most stellar of histories in Australia, it was only offered here for a short time and was essentially the same car as the Holden Barina of the day.

But, in 2017, there’s a whole new Suzuki Ignis coming to Australia and this time it doesn’t have to share the spotlight.

Confirmed for a first-quarter 2017 return to our shores by Suzuki Australia this afternoon, the new Ignis debut only last week at the Paris Motor Show.

Suzuki Australia boss, Andrew Moore, says the Ignis will compliment a Suzuki range that is winning-over an increasing number of Australian new car buyers.

Vitara has been an outstanding SUV success for Suzuki, since it was relaunched in May,”
