Impreza, XV lead the charge
A month to remember, that’s a good way to sum up Subaru’s July 2017 sales results in Australia.
The Japanese brand enjoyed a 27.1% lift in demand in the month, according to the VFACTS data, with 4,265 new Subaru vehicles delivered to Australian customers.
Across the first seven months of the year Subaru car sales in Australia skipped ahead 10.2%.

Subaru boss Colin Christie was delighted with the results.
“Customer response to our new generation cars is just phenomenal.
“The value, specification and engineering right across the range are clear winners with Subaru customers both old and new.”
July 2017 Car Sales Data – Subaru:
- Subaru XV – 1,138 (+88.1%)
- Subaru Impreza – 914 (+195.8%)
- Subaru Outback – 907 (+3.4%)
- Subaru Forester – 847 (-2.1%)
- Subaru WRX – 185 (-30.7%)
- Subaru Liberty – 151 (-22.6%)
- Subaru BRZ – 62 (+675.0%)
- Subaru Levorg – 61 (-73.5%)
Some of the best performing states for Subaru in July were SA (+59.1%), Tasmania (+114.1%) and WA (+41.5%).
While sales increased by 37.3% in Victoria, 14.3% in NSW and 13.7% in QLD.
