Subaru Outback set for 2017 refresh

The ever-popular Subaru Outback looks set to welcome some styling tweaks as part of a refresh of the model for 2018.

In the U.S., Subaru has confirmed it would be showing the refreshed Outback at next week’s 2017 New York Auto Show.

The styling refresh being described as giving the Outback “a bolder, more rugged looking face for 2018”.

This will be achieved by way of a new grille with wider and lower openings and the addition of a new-look bumper.

While Subaru of America also confirmed that the front guards have been redesigned “for better protection from mud and stones”.

We can also expect LED daytime running lights and an update to the infotainment system with the addition of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
