The future is electric, that’s the message coming out of Volkswagen and the global auto giants are certainly putting their money where their mouth is.
The Volkswagen owned Czech car brand, Skoda, is about to debut a new all-electric SUV at next month’s Shanghai Motor Show.
Part of the Volkswagen push towards an array of electric vehicles by 2025, the Skoda Vision E SUV Coupe EV Concept can travel up to 500 kilometres on a single charge and boasts an output of a healthy 225kW.
While Skoda tells us that the concept will also feature the latest autonomous driving technologies.
Skoda is expected to have its first plug-in hybrid models available in 2019 and full EV’s are expected on the roads by 2020.
