Skoda’s new compact SUV teased ahead of official debut…
We are about to get the new Skoda seven-seat SUV, the KODIAQ, in Australia, now comes official word that there’s also a new Skoda compact SUV in the works.
And that all-new Skoda offering will be called the Skoda KAROQ.
In releasing these teaser photos today, Skoda also confirmed the new offering will be powered by a choice of five different engines, two petrol and three diesels.
Power outputs from those engines will range from 85kW to 140kW and all are Euro 6 rated.
2WD and AWD drivetrains have also been confirmed, while a seven-speed DSG transmission is expected to come as standard.
A cargo space of 521 litres (back seat up), optional fully digital instrument panel and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity has also been confirmed by Skoda.
There’s no official word on availability of the Skoda KAROQ in Australia, however we will keep you updated with further info as it comes to hand in our Skoda News section.
