Updated 2015 Nissan JUKE lands from $26,568 drive-away.
Nissan dealerships are now receiving an updated version of the Nissan JUKE with the sometimes polarizing model featuring refreshed looks, updated specifications and a new engine option.
The five-door hatch with those distinctive looks now features redesigned upper lamps with bi-intensity LED daytime running lamps incorporated, Xenon bulbs have been added to the flagship JUKE Ti-S.
Nissan has added also added a tougher trim underneath the bumper, LED indicator lights to the wing-mirrors, a redesigned rear bumper, new paint colours and fresh alloy wheel designs complete the external make-over.
Changes have also been made to the shape of the boot area in two-wheel drive models, a move that Nissan says increases boost space by up to 40%. This is combined with a new two-stage floor in the luggage area.
Finally, to the engines, and the Nissan JUKE is now also offered with a 1.2 litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 85kW and 190Nm. This engine sits alongside the larger naturally-aspirated 1.6 litre petrol (86kW/158Nm) and 140kW/240Nm turbo-charged power plants.
Richard Emery, Managing Director and CEO of Nissan Australia, says the new JUKE now makes an even more compelling argument.
“The Nissan JUKE has added personality to the sporty compact SUV segment.”
“This updated vehicle refines a great formula that makes the JUKE even more appealing to Australian consumers in the market for a bold, performance inspired drive.”
