Another Range Rover recall
There’s been a second recall this week for Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles sold in Australia.
The latest editions of the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport are being recalled to fix an electrical wiring fault that could pose a fire risk.
Affecting 2015 model year vehicles of both Range Rover models, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission says that an incorrectly sized blower motor wire was installed on the vehicle harnesses.
These incorrectly sized wires may overheat and pose a fire hazard.
Owners of affected Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles will be notified and instructed to take their vehicle to a Land Rover dealer who will install a correct specification ground wire.
If damage is observed to the insulation of any of the surrounding wires the dealer will ensure the correct repair procedure is undertaken.
This recall comes just days after the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport were recalled over a potential brake fault.
