The Nissan Pulsar range is complete once again with the hatch version and sporty SSS model now back in the line-up.

A popular model, particularly in the late 1990’s in Australia, the SSS is back in the new Pulsar hatch and is priced from $32,433, while the hatch variant in base model ST trim begins at just $21,878.

Both the SSS and the ST-S variant of the Pulsar hatch come with Nissan’s 140kW/240Nm, 1.6-litre DIG (Direct Injection Gasoline) Turbo engine, while a CVT with manual mode is available as an option above the standard six-speed manual transmission.

Nissan Australia CEO William F Peffer Jr says the Pulsar has been a sales success since its reintroduction earlier this year and the SSS and hatch will only add to the models popularity.

“Now we can offer an even more compelling case with the four grades of Pulsar hatch, including two turbocharged variants.

“The Nissan Pulsar hatch is an extremely competitive, value-rich proposition for Australian new car buyers. And for those looking for additional excitement, the return of the Pulsar SSS offers affordable excitement from a performance hatch.”
