Owners of a Ranger 570 Off-Road vehicle are being advised of a recall issued by Polaris Australia through the ACCC.
The Ranger 570 is a 2-seat all-wheel-drive off-road vehicle, that is particularly well suited to rough terrain.
Polaris has advised that some models were manufactured with insufficient shielding between the engine exhaust and rearmost seat close-off panel, which could lead to the seat close-off panel overheating which may pose a fire hazard.
Vehicles involved in the recall were sold across Australia between 2nd January 2015 and the 29th June 2016, and have the following models numbers:
- R15RNA57AA / AC / AR
- R16RNA57A1 / A4 / A9
Owners should contact their local Polaris RANGER dealer as soon as possible, and schedule an appointment to have the potential issue corrected.
