MINI Clubman gets John Cooper Works treatment

The MINI range is set to welcome a new sporty John Cooper Works (JCW) version of the MINI Clubman.

MINI this morning confirmed that the five-seat ‘shooting brake’ version of the 2017 MINI with JCW enhancements would become a reality, complete with all-wheel drive and a 170kW 2.0 litre turbocharged engine.

Transmission choice will be six-speed manual or optional eight-speed auto.

2017 MINI Clubman John Cooper Works Features:

  • JCW body-kit/exterior enhancements
  • LED headlamps
  • Park Distance Control
  • Sports exhaust
  • Brembo brakes
  • 18” JCW alloy wheels (19” optional)
  • Dynamic Stability Control
  • Dynamic Damper Control
  • Sports seats

While more than likely coming to Australia, at this stage local availability is still yet to be confirmed.
