Sales records fall as Mercedes-Benz achieves stellar sales in 2015.
The sales records keep falling at Mercedes-Benz with the German brand reporting its best ever third quarter sales.
A total of 477,999 vehicles sold from July to September brought Mercedes-Benz the strongest quarter in the company’s history so far. In all, sales were up 16.1% on the same period in 2014.
In September alone Mercedes-Benz delivered 188,444 vehicles, 15.8% more than the same month last year. While across the first full nine months of the year Mercedes-Benz has experienced an impressive 15.2% increase in global sales.
Sales in our region, the Asia-Pacific, are up a whopping 32.7%! Mercedes-Benz is the biggest-selling premium brand in Australia.
Ola Källenius, from Daimler AG/Mercedes-Benz Cars Marketing & Sales, welcomed the record results.
“More than 50,000 SUVs sold in September and growth of over 36% are evidence of the popularity of our products in this segment.
“The GLC and the GLE both started with record unit sales after their market launch in September.”
