Mazda3 small cars passes a major production milestone.
It’s just over ten years since the first Mazda3 was produced (known as the Mazda Atenza in China and Japan); now four million have been screwed together and sold to customers in over 120 countries and regions globally.
No other Mazda model has ever reached the four million car milestone this quickly and global demand for the model, which replaced the longstanding Mazda 626/Capella designation, continues to grow each year.
With an exciting new Mazda6 model now available and five factories (in Japan, Russia, China, Colombia and the United States) trying to keep up with demand, the Mazda3 success story looks a long way from being over.
