March arrival confirmed for BMW X3 sDrive20i

New entry-level BMW X3 coming in March

The new-generation BMW X3 will welcome the new entry-level variant in Australia in March.

Known as the BMW X3 sDrive20i, the offering will be rear-wheel drive only (the only non-AWD) version of the X3) and prices will kick-off from $65,900.

Confirmed today by BMW Australia, the new X3 variant is powered by a 135kW/290Nm 2.0 litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine.

An eight-speed auto transmission comes as standard, along with the same standard features found in the more expensive X3 xDrive20d.

2018 BMW X3 sDrive20i Standard Features:

  • 19” alloy wheels
  • Cloth/leather upholstery
  • Auto tailgate
  • Three-zone automatic air conditioning
  • Head-Up Display
  • Navigation system business
  • LED headlights
  • Wireless telephone charging

BMW Australia CEO, Marc Werner, expects the offering to be very popular.

“We have been strongly encouraged by the X3’s sales performance since it arrived in early- November,”

“With the X3 sDrive20i, customers can enjoy all the flexibility of the all-new X3 platform at a further sharpened price point.”

  • X3 sDrive20i – from $65,900
  • X3 xDrive20d – from $68,900
  • X3 xDrive30i – from $75,900
  • X3 xDrive30d – from $83,900
