There has never been a better Commodore and it was judged by us the best car of 2013, now, as Australians take nearly their last chance to buy a Commodore a major production milestone has been past.
The 50,000th VF Commodore has rolled off Holden’s South Australia production line and is destined for a buyer in Sydney.
It comes after ten months of production as the model continues to outstrip the sales performance of its predecessor – the VE. 2,777 new Commodores were sold in February alone – an increase of 60 percent on the old models February 2013 result.
Holden Executive Director of Manufacturing, Richard Phillips, said he’s proud of the 50,000 car milestone.
“The VF is quite simply the best quality car Holden has ever built, and to see the 50,000th one roll off the line is a milestone everyone is very proud of,” Mr Phillips said.
