New Lexus SUV to be priced from $55,000.
The much-anticipated new Lexus hybrid SUV – the NX 300h is now arriving in dealerships.
Pricing and specification details have now also been confirmed by Lexus Australia, and as we reported back in September, the new model will be priced from $55,000.
To be offered in three specification levels – Luxury, F Sport and Sports Luxury, the new Lexus NX 300h will come with the choice of 2WD or AWD in the entry-level model, from there however it’s only an AWD offering.
Under the bonnet is just the one powertrain choice – a 2.5 litre four-cylinder petrol engine mated to an electric system consisting of one electric motor in 2WD and two in AWD models. Combined, the system develops 147kW of power and claimed combined fuel use is 5.6L/100kms.
Finally, Lexus has also confirmed the standard features list in the NX 300h, which boasts;
Heated front seats
18” alloy wheels
Smart entry and start
10-speaker audio with digital radio
Lexus Australia chief executive Sean Hanley has welcomed the arrival of the NX 300h in dealerships.
“When designing the all-new NX, the engineers and designers wanted to offer consumers something unique – something that stood out from the crowd and offered innovative on-board technology while meeting the practical requirements of SUV customers,”
“The result is an outstanding vehicle that, much like the pioneering RX and RX hybrid models before it, will provide customers with a fresh, new perspective on a compact SUV.”
