Jaguar confirms pricing details for new Jaguar XE.

Jaguar XE Australian pricing confirmed – the new Jaguar XE goes on sale from September 1.

It was judged the Most Beautiful Car of 2014 and Best Compact Saloon in the UK, now Australian motorists are about to get the chance to check out the new Jaguar XE.

Arriving in Australian dealerships in September and set to take on the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class in the mid-size luxury market, Australian pricing for the Jaguar XE will range from $60,400 to $104,200.

The rear-wheel drive model will be offered with a choice of 2.0 litre 132kW/430Nm turbo diesel, 2.0 litre147W/280Nm turbo-petrol, 2.0 litre 177kW/340Nm turbo-petrol and 3.0 litre 250kW/450Nm V6 supercharged petrol.

Transmission choice across all engines is the same – 8-speed automatic.

While standard features will include 18” alloy wheels, reverse camera with front and rear parking sensors, Auto Park assist, lane departure warning, blind spot monitor and 8” touch screen

Jaguar also promising that the new Jaguar XE will offer outstanding levels of comfort and spaciousness on the inside, along with exquisite materials and finishes throughout.

Kevin Stride, Vehicle Line Director for the Jaguar XE, says the new offering is going to be something pretty special.

“The XE’s driving behaviour fully matches the promise of its seductive looks, and the emotional appeal is supported by state of-the-art approaches to efficiency, from aerodynamics to the advanced Ingenium engine family.”
