Isuzu has free info on tradie ute loads

Is your load killing your ute? the focus of webinar

broken ute pick-up

Isuzu, Australia’s best-selling truck brand, wants more Aussie tradies to consider stepping up to a light truck, rather than the traditional ute/pick-up.

The Japanese brand has an extensive range of ‘Ready to Work’ trucks that are already kitted out for plumbers, builders and the like, and say these vehicles provide a more usable and practical alternative.

Now comes a free webinar that will examine whether utes/pick-ups are really up to the job.

Called ‘Is Your Load Killing Your Ute’, the webinar will be held on the 17th of October and will be hosted by Isuzu Australia’s Chief Engineer, Simon Humphries.

Simon tells us that many tradies aren’t using their utes/pick-ups within the boundaries of the law.

“Often we find business owners don’t know what their vehicles are legally allowed to carry.

“And that’s not surprising – many utes are regularly promoted as ‘one-tonners’ yet if anyone was to carry one tonne in the tray they’d be breaking the law, jeopardising their safety and potentially putting other road users in danger.”

The online seminar with Q&A component is free, and interested listeners need only register on this website.

‘Is Your Load Killing Your Ute?’ will take place on October 17 at 12 AEDT (11am QLD/11:30am SA/10am WA/10:30am NT).
