Australian luxury car buyers have a good-looking new Lexus to look forward to with the all-new Lexus LS coming early next year.
The new-generation Lexus is being built on all-new platform (the same platform as the exciting Lexus LC Coupe) and the Japanese car company is promising a much more exciting drive experience in the new model.
But it was the 2018 Lexus LS interior that has won the award.
The new LS has been named as the recipient of the 2017 EyesOn Design Award for interior design excellence at the Detroit Auto Show.
Lexus designers tell us they approached the look and feel of the new cabin with inspiration from the finest traditions of Japanese hospitality and craftsmanship, and it looks like that approach has worked.
The EyesOn Design Award judges saying the new-gen LS represents the pinnacle of the Lexus brand as a new-generation luxury car that embodies distinctly Japanese traditions and cultural influences.
“We’re very proud that the EyesOn Design judges recognised our efforts and awarded the best interior honour to the LS 500,” LS chief designer Koichi Suga said.
