The Infiniti SUV range looks set to welcome a new mid-size offering based very closely on this QX50 Concept unveiled today at the Detroit Auto Show.
Still being labelled as a ‘production ready’ model, Infiniti are yet to officially commit to the model, however we would be willing to bet it will become a reality soon!
Powered by a 2.0 litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, Infiniti tell us the QX50 Concept has been targeted to use up to 27% less fuel than a comparatively sized V6-powered SUV.
The Japanese car brand also say that the smaller engine allows for more cabin space as the engine bay doesn’t need to be large enough to accommodate a V6.
While Infiniti tell us the QX50 Concept has a premium interior design that is both ‘driver-centric and passenger-minded’.
We will bring you more Infiniti QX50 News as it comes to hand.
