Hyundai to show new Hyundai i30 wagon in Geneva…
The popular Hyundai i30 is welcoming a new-generation and now we’ve got our first look at the wagon variant with these teaser images.
The hatch version is set to arrive in Australia soon (details here) and lands with improved engines and fresh new looks.
But whether the wagon returns to Australia remains to be seen.
Hyundai Australia discontinued the Hyundai i30 Tourer last year after poor sales, a fresh new look and feel though might just bring Australian’s to the i30 wagon into the future.
We will keep you updated.
In the meantime, Chief Designer at Hyundai Design Centre Europe Thomas Bürkle, tells us the new-generation Hyundai i30 wagon offers the timeless design of i30 enhanced by the versatile and elegant form of a wagon.
“It speaks the language of the i30 family in terms of design,”
“The new i30 wagon also carries the new Hyundai family identity – the Cascading Grille, the tapering roofline and the dynamic proportions give the Wagon an almost coupé-like silhouette.
“The sleek and dynamic profile is further emphasised by a rich chrome frame surrounding the side windows.”
Making its debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month, we will keep you updated with more Hyundai i30 News as it comes to hand.
