As it stands, to drive some American car brands on our roads, you would need to import it and have it converted.
The coalition will start with introduction of two models; the Chevrolet Camaro and the Chevrolet Silverado to Australia and New Zealand.
The existing HSV dealer network will progressively be setup to market the Chevy badge carrying both brands as separate product lines.
The Chevrolet Silverado 4×4 crew cab pickup features a 6.6L turbo diesel V8 with mind-blowing 332kW of power and 1234Nm of torque and a maximum 1800kg payload.
Conversion of the Silverado range will commence in April, the Camaro in July, and pricing will be confirmed at a later date.

HSV Managing Director Tim Jackson says they will let the brand speak for itself.
