MINI has confirmed it will have a fully-electric model ready to debut in around two years.
Based on this concept car, the MINI ELECTRIC CONCEPT, the famous British brand say the production version will debut in 2019.

MINI has already began producing plug-in hybrid vehicles, including the Countryman PHEV, the fully EV though takes things another step forward.
In teasing the concept car, MINI said the combines a drive system that is always quick off the mark with a precision-tuned suspension.
There’s no word yet though on electric drive range.

The MINI concept also previews a possible expansion in 3D printing by BMW/MINI.
Components such as the air intakes were produced using the new technology.
MINI chief, Peter Schwarzenbauer, says the electric-drive MINI will be a fantastic addition to the range.
“With its characteristic go-kart feel and powerful electric motor, the MINI ELECTRIC CONCEPT is great fun to drive while also being completely suitable for everyday use – and producing zero emissions to boot.
“That’s how we at MINI envisage electric mobility in tomorrow’s world.”
