Fuel pipe issue sees Maserati models recalled

Maserati Quattroporte/Ghibli recalled in Australia…

A recall of MY14 and MY15 versions of the Maserati Quattroporte and Ghibli is underway after a possible fuel leak issue was identified.

In total, 240 Maserati cars sold in Australia are affected, is your vehicle one of them? Check your VIN here.

The recall is being overseen by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and the recall notice advises that fuel may leak from the fuel delivery pipe.

What are the hazards?

This issue may pose a safety hazard to other road users if fuel leaks on to the road.

Maserati will contact all known owners of affected vehicles asking them to contact their nearest Maserati dealer to arrange the replacement of the entire fuel delivery pipe.

The work will be carried out free of charge.
