Frankfurt debut likely for Genesis G70

Genesis to take on Germans

The Hyundai-owned premium car brand, Genesis, will soon have a mid-size luxury car out to steal buyers away from the BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class and Audi A4.

It will be known as the Genesis G70 and the guys at Automotive News in the U.S. have just published the below spy shot of the new Genesis model under testing.

If it looks a little familiar, that’s because it will share the same platform as the Kia Stinger.

Expect to see a choice of 2.0 litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol and 3.3 litre V6 twin-turbo petrol engines when the model comes to market in 2018.
