It’s one of the world’s favourite cars and now buyers can choose a Ford Focus with updated and refreshed styling.

Just unveiled, the new Focus features some external tweaks, including a new horizontal grille, while inside the cabin Ford say they have reworked the interior to be more reminiscent of an aircraft cockpit and added paddle shifters too.

Globally, the new Focus will be offered with a choice of six different petrol and diesel engines, along with an electric variant. While we won’t see that selection of engines here, the three-cylinder 1.0 litre EcoBoost petrol engine, currently only available in the Fiesta, is expected to be on offer.

Arriving later in the year in Australia, Stephen Odell, president of Ford of Europe, Middle East and Africa, says the new Focus has been designed to capture the attention of car buyers.

“New Focus marries modern design, advanced technology and leading fuel efficiency with the fun-to-drive DNA for which Focus is rightly acclaimed.”
