Ford shows off new XR8 and updated XR6.
The XR8 is back and joining the performance variant of the Falcon is an updated XR6.
Featuring the latest styling cues from Ford’s global designs, the new offerings feature the signature trapezoidal grille, chiselled head lamp treatment and smoother, wrap-around LED tail-lamps.
Exterior Design Manager, Nima Nourian, says the challenge was delivering a powerful, yet premium look for the new XR models.
“I’m proud of the fact that the new Falcon XR builds on an already distinctive design and yet delivers a whole new personality.
“With the XR6 and XR8 the front end is not only sporty but has a premium look, which will also be apparent across the Falcon range.”
The updated Falcon range will arrive in dealerships later in the year.
