Five million car milestone for Mazda3

Five million car milestone for Mazda3

It’s one of the best small cars on the market and now the Mazda3 has just passed a significant sales and production milestone.

The Mazda small car, offered in Australia in both sedan and hatch body shapes, has just passed the five-million-unit production milestone.

Today, the Mazda model is built in a number of countries including Japan, Mexico and Thailand.

Interestingly, the Mazda3 is only the second Mazda model to ever reach five million units.

It was the Mazda 323 (the model that the Mazda3 replaced) that is the other Mazda model to have made the significant production milestone.

Now in its third-generation, it’s been twelve years since the Mazda3 first went into production and today it makes up a whopping one-third of all Mazda sales.

It also Mazda’s biggest-selling model in Australia.

The Mazda3 range in Australia is priced from $20,490.
