The Tundra has been a consistently popular model for Performax in recent years.

The team at Performax International has another exciting new offering for Australian buyers needing plenty of power and versatility.

The upgraded 2014 edition of the US-built Tundra has just been given the compliance tick of approval from every state and territory, meaning the V8 pick-up can be registered nationwide.

With a 5.7 litre all-alloy petrol V8 producing 284kW and 543 Nm, the Tundra is rated to tow a mammoth 4.0 tonnes!

Available in two variants, Platinum and the 1794 Edition, the new Tundra boasts an all-new interior plus more safety, comfort and convenience specifications, including;

  • 20” alloy wheels
  • Auto-dimming and power folding mirrors
  • LED Daytime Running Lights
  • Power tilt/slide moon-roof
  • Heated and ventilated front seats
  • Power tilt/telescope steering wheel
  • Electric rear cabin window

Performax International General Manager Glenn Soper says the new Tundra is sure to build on the popularity of the superseded model.

“The 2014 trucks have proved immediately popular. Even before we officially announced their availability we sold several to customers who know the Toyota Tundra is one of the finest pick-ups for sale in Australia.

“The Platinum version will suit any buyer looking for a smart pick-up, but the 1794 Edition has a little extra touch of country added to its styling for someone who wants something a bit special.”
