Canadian EV co delivers first car
As we look into the future we reckon there’s a pretty good chance that we will see an increase in single-seat cars.
It makes sense, instead of having a car with seats for up to seven people taking up a whole lane in peak-hour, why not have smaller and thinner cars that don’t need so much space?
Canadian electric car start-up, Electra Meccanica, agree.
They’ve just scored their first sale with one of their SOLO single-seat electric cars being handed over to a customer.
The car boasts a 160-kilometre range and can travel at speeds of up to 130km/h.
Electra Meccanica CEO Jerry Kroll says the sky really is the limit for the operation, especially in the U.S. market.
“We plan on shipping cars down to America in Q4 this year.
“We have a lot of orders in the States.”
Good luck to them and we will bring you more news on Electra Meccanica as it comes to hand.
