Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) are doing their bit to help needy Aussie families this Christmas with the car company getting behind The Smith Family Toy & Book Appeal.
FCA, parent company of Jeep, Alfa Romeo and others, has just let us know that their dealerships, which number 110 across Australia, are taking donations over the Christmas period.
The appeal provides new toys and books to children in need over Christmas.
“We are proud to support The Smith Family this Christmas and look forward to helping them reach their goal of collecting over 100,000 new toys and books.” FCA Australia CEO Steve Zanlunghi
The car company will also provide a fleet of vehicles to assist in the collection and delivery of the gifts.
The Smith Family’s CEO Dr Lisa O’Brien says the support is very much appreciated.
“Sadly, thousands of Australian kids won’t receive a gift this Christmas simply because their families can’t afford it.
“This year, The Smith Family aims to deliver toy and book packs to 20,000 children who are part of our Learning for Life sponsorship program and receive education support throughout the year.
“Thanks to the generous support of the Australian public, we can bring many happy smiles to children’s faces on Christmas morning.”
