It’s one of those new cars that looks set to be a game changer, not just in its segment, but also for the Alfa Romeo brand as a whole.
Back, not all that long ago, Alfa Romeo cars were lusted after and getting one was a sign that you had both made it, and that you were a real car person too!
Alfa Romeo posters were commonly found on the walls of car fans alongside supercars like the Lamborghini Countach and Ferrari F40.
But then something went wrong with the famous Italian brand and all of a sudden everyone could have one, even those on a serious budget, with models like the rather forgettable (and odd), MiTo.
In 2017 though we have an Alfa Romeo car to look forward to again and the good news is it’s almost here – the Alfa Romeo Giulia.
Sure, there are the lower-spec and less powerful versions coming, but the Giulia Quadrifoglio (or QV) with its stonking 375kW/600Nm 2.9 litre twin-turbo V6 is that one that Alfa Romeo hopes will breathe some life into the brand.
