Joel Helmes reviews the CarPlan range of car cleaning products.
There’s certainly no shortage of car cleaning products available at your local auto parts store.
But, in most cases, you don’t really get a lot for your money – literally! The CarPlan range however comes in big one litre spray bottles meaning you have lots of car cleaning fun before having to restock.
Fortunately, as I found out, the CarPlan range does an excellent job of getting your car clean and shiny.
Results: The Rapid Dirt Shifter did a great job of removing the initial layer of dust and dirt.
The Snow Foam Shampoo required only a small amount to provide enough suds to wash the entire LandCruiser. It also has a pleasing candy/cherry type smell!
As you might expect the wheels came up nice and clean, though a better result would have been achieved on a set of alloys. Most importantly the spray didn’t have the same unpleasant acidic smell as another recent wheel cleaning product we tested.
I was very impressed with the Demon Clean; it not only removed ingrained dirt on the interior but also left a shiny and clean look without a greasy feel.
The Demon Shine worked really well to bring out a shiny clean result, with a minimum of fuss.
Finally, I was ultra-impressed with the Screen Wipes, just the one wipe easily removed the dirt and suction cup marks from the windscreen.
Summing it up: If you take your car cleaning seriously then it would be well worth investing in this range of products. Sure, the initial investment will be a little hefty, but with really good results and plenty of repeat cleans I think the Demon Clean range could be a really good buy.
You can buy the Demon Clean range on the Altrex Website.
