I wish I had something more interesting to review for you than my Hyundai Accent but here goes…
I previously owned a Nissan Pulsar and while it was a good car I needed a new vehicle for work and the Hyundai Accent came with a five year warranty.
Aside from the warranty, which I’m pleased to say I have never had to use, the Accent was affordable and came with things like air-conditioning at no extra cost and this made my salary sacrifice a lot less painful!
Still, by saving on the car I have managed to have a decent holiday so that’s a bonus.
My Hyundai Accent is certainly not a racing car, but it seems to be alright on the freeway and for a tank of fuel I get two weeks driving to and from work, to the gym etc. and I reckon that’s pretty good.
The seats and the interior are probably the worst parts of the Accent and where you can mostly tell it was a ‘value pick’.
The carpets too have a really cheap, plastic type look and feel and they haven’t worn very well either.
In all, I would say my Hyundai ownership experience has been what I had imagined or hoped for – reliable and cheap transport with minimum fun or comfort.
What would I buy next time? Hmm I do like the new Mazda MX-5!
