In confirming that the first BMW X7 vehicles were now becoming a reality, BMW said that testing will include both endurance tests and test drives under extreme conditions, including in Death Valley and Scandinavia.
“This is a very special vehicle and our employees are looking forward to yet a further member of the X family.” – Knudt Flor, head of the BMW Group Spartanburg plant
We can confirm that the X7 is a three-row SUV, the concept version had just six seats, expect the production model to feature seven.
Petrol and diesel versions, along with a plug-in hybrid, are expected to feature when the SUV lands in dealerships in early 2019.
