New BMW 8 Series to be offered in M configuration…
Confirmed for a 2018 arrival, BMW only days ago showed us a concept that is tipped to not be all that different to the car that will go into production.
Now comes news that there will be a BMW M8.
BMW head office in Munich has tonight released these teaser images of a disguised BMW M8 in action.
The German car company saying that the fully camouflaged, early prototype of the future BMW M8 will debut at the upcoming Nürburgring 24-hour race.
The BMW M8 will boast “classical M features like larger air intakes, modified brakes and a sports exhaust with four tailpipes.”
Frank van Meel, President BMW M Division, says it will be a very special car.
“The conception and development of the standard BMW 8 Series and the M model run in parallel,”
“The future BMW M8 will build on the genes of the 8 Series and augment its DNA with added track ability and generous extra portions of dynamic sharpness, precision and agility.
“It all flows into a driving experience that bears the familiar BMW M hallmarks and satisfies our customers’ most exacting requirements.”
