The BMW 2 Series Coupe and Convertible range will enjoy a $2,000 price reduction with BMW Australia also adding extra standard features to the models in each range.

With a new starting point of $48,990 Coupe and $55,990 Convertible, the four models of each variant all enjoy the same $2,000 price reduction. While standard features now include a reverse camera and BMW Connected Drive with Real Time Traffic Information.

Digital radio comes as standard on the BMW 228i Coupe/Convertible and M235i Coupe/Convertible.

BMW Group Australia Head of Product and Market Planning Shawn Ticehurst said the changes are all about attracting more buyers.

“Given Australia’s already strong appetite for sports cars, this update will ensure the 2 Series range remains an attractive proposition, and introduces its defining rear-wheel drive dynamics to a broader audience,”

“The increased value proposition delivered by these measures will ensure even more people can enjoy the rewarding and characteristically BMW driving experience this car has to offer.”
