Nissan Motorsport driver Todd Kelly has gotten behind the initiative and recently had his car fitted with blue valve caps.

Australian drivers are being asked to support a fundraising campaign for the Leukemia Foundation by purchasing a set of blue valve caps for their car.

Available from Bridgestone Select stores, Bridgestone Tyre Centres and Bridgestone Service Centres throughout September and October, the valve caps cost $2 per set and all funds raised go towards supporting the Leukaemia Foundation’s quest for a blood cancer free future.

Joanne Denley, Bridgestone Australia’s Director Corporate Services and Risk Management, says the ‘Light the Night’ caps symbolize hope, and just as importantly, support critical research.

“We’re encouraging everyone to get involved by wearing our blue valve caps with pride. The whole community can support a great cause by lighting up the night – and the road – all for just $2.

Bridgestone Australia has supported the Leukaemia Foundation for 28 years and last year’s blue valve cap initiative raised $60,000 for the charity.
