AutoGlym Interior Foam Shampoo Recall

Car interior foam aerosol recalled over safety fears.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) is overseeing a safety recall of 450ml AutoGlym Aerosol Hi Foam shampoo for automotive interiors.

Sold in Australia under the AutoGlym brand name at Autobarn stores and various automotive accessory stores, the ACCC recall notice warning that the packaging may fail, causing the can to leak or burst.

If the defect occurs, the can may suddenly and violently burst propelling the can and dispersing the contents. This may cause serious injury or property damage.

The affected aerosol cans were sold in Australia between the 21^st of May 2015 and the 8^th of January 2016 in stores located in New South Wales and Victoria.
