Australian Design Award for 2016 Mazda MX-5

The highly-acclaimed new Mazda MX-5 has just added another trophy to the cabinet, this time an Australian Design Award.

Australian Design Award for 2016 Mazda MX-5The Mazda has just been named the winner of the Good Design Australia “Best in Category” – auto and transport and comes after recent accolades including World Car of the Year and the World Design Car of the Year.

Mazda taking the Australian Design Award after beating home finalists including the SUVs – Volvo XC90 and Audi Q7.

Mazda Australia managing director Martin Benders welcomed the recognition.
