Audi has another performance-orientated offering for Australian car buyers – the new S1 Sportback.

Arriving in Audi dealerships now, the five-door Audi S1 Sportback comes standard with quattro all-wheel drive and a 2.0 litre turbo-charged petrol engine that delivers a healthy 170kW and 370Nm. The S1 Sportback will be offered only with a six-speed manual transmission.

With a zero to 100 km/h time of 5.9 seconds and fuel consumption of 7.1L/100kms, Audi Australia Managing Director Andrew Doyle says the new offering is sure to be a hit in the premium small compact market.

“The new S1 Sportback is without rival. No other car of its size can boast such impressive performance credentials, with its powerful 2.0-litre engine, quattro all-wheel drive and a depth of engineering that is unique to this special model.”
