New premium compact Audi Q2 SUV available…
We reckon the Audi Q2 is going to be a sales smash for Audi Australia and now your local dealership has the latest new Audi model available to test-drive.
Coming into the premium small SUV market and ready to compete with the likes of the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class, Audi has the Q2 priced sharply, kicking off from $41,100.
That entry-level Audi Q2 1.4 TFSI boasts a 110kW/250Nm 1.4 litre petrol engine.
Step up to the Q2 sport (from $47,900) and you get a 110kW/340Nm turbo-diesel and quattro all-wheel drive.
While Audi tell us a 2.0 litre turbo-petrol/quattro model will land in Australia later in the year.
Standard gear in the 2017 Audi Q2 includes:
- Autonomous Emergency Braking
- Sat-Nav
- Reverse camera
- Dual-zone automatic air-conditioning
- Leather-appointed seats
- Alloy wheels
While the upper-spec model adds:
- Electric tailgate
- Sport seats
- Audi side assist
Audi Australia boss Andrew Doyle says he’s excited to see the Q2 finally on sale in Australia.
“Q2 will open up the Audi brand to a new range of buyers,”
“This new model will exceed customer expectations of how an Audi should look, and what it should offer, thanks to a suite of infotainment and connectivity technologies.
“We are very pleased to be launching this game-changing vehicle to Australia in such a competitive package.”
As we reported in December, Audi’s new Q2 launches in Australia with a full five-star ANCAP safety rating.
We will keep you updated with the latest Audi Q2 News as it comes to hand.
