Another recall of Polaris vehicles underway

Ranger XP 900 could have possibly dangerous seat issue…

Owners of Polaris Ranger XP 900 and Ranger XP 900 Crew models are being asked to return their vehicle to a dealership to have a possibly dangerous issue attended to.

The recall affects Polaris vehicles sold between the 1st of January 2015 and the 18th of April 2017.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) are overseeing the recall.

The recall notice advises that the seat close off panel screws can come loose, causing a close off panel to become dislodged.

What are the hazards?

This can cause the seat to become dislodged and possibly catch fire.

Affected Polaris owners will be contacted by direct mail and asked to contact their local Polaris dealer to arrange an appointment and repair of the vehicle.
