GAC Motor tops car buyer study
We’ve been keeping an eye on the Chinese auto giants – GAC Motor in recent times as it seems to be a car manufacturer on the move.
Now comes another accolade – topping all the other Chinese car brands in the 2017 J.D. Power China Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI).
The study looks at car buyer satisfaction through the dealership and purchasing experience.
GMC Motor finished seventh overall.
Yu Jun, president of GAC Motor, welcomed the top-placed domestic manufacturer ranking.
“By visiting and surveying international markets to adjust strategies, resources allocation, technology utilization and dealership policies accordingly, GAC Motor has been able to continuously improve the localization of its vehicles, sales and services.
“This strategy has guaranteed that our sales and service teams provide the best quality experience for our customers worldwide.
“By building all-around teams, cultivating young talent and creating an information feedback system, we can make GAC Motor a world-class auto brand.”
While on those international expansion plans, Mr Jun says progress is being made.
“In the future, GAC Motor plans to add more service centres and dealers to the global network,”
“We will build an international brand and promote experiential marketing while choosing international dealers based on our after-sales services system and capabilities.”
Those comments come as Chinese car sales in Australia have increased by more than 70% so far in 2017.
