Toyota is not one to be caught sitting on its laurels when faced with a challenge.
That challenge for Hilux one tonner is vigorous competition from other makes which offer sexed-up utes, in particular the Ford Ranger Wild Track and the Volkswagen Amarok V6.
So, Toyota came out with a three pronged attack in the Hilux Rogue, Rugged and Rugged X, essentially factory optioned up versions of the Hilux featuring all the stuff many buys fit to their vehicle.
They ain’t cheap but won’t disappoint when the going gets tough.
Look pretty good too!
